Just like learning all the techniques you use to help your clients, you can also learn how to make money work for you.
You can stop giving all your energy to your work, and seeing more and more clients. You can actually keep your energy to live your life.
You’ve proven yourself to be incredibly intelligent and competent in so many areas of life. I know you can make money work for you too.
I worked at a community agency for 2 years before feeling overworked and underpaid. Then, I opened my private practice in 2014.
I loved it! I was finally feeling fulfilled and in control of my work.
But soon, I found myself spending more than I was getting paid. Before long, I started to feel like an overworked and underpaid therapist… again.
I needed to start treating my private practice like a real business. But when I dug into what was available online for private practice finances, resources were sparse.
Luckily, I’m the daughter of an accountant. I inherited a bookkeeping brain! So I rolled up my sleeves and got to work building the system and knowledge I so needed.

Remember the 4-Step Framework?
These steps are the foundation of the Money Skills for Therapists program. Each module is built to guide you through them in a clear, actionable way.
Every module corresponds to one of these steps, breaking it down into bite-sized, self-paced lessons so you can build your skills and systems in your own time.
These course calls and online community make it easy to succeed because you’ll have all the support you need.
Ask an expert all of your burning private practice accounting and tax questions.

“The Teachable content was extremely helpful, and I appreciate that we have lifetime access as I know I will (a) need reminders on some concepts/processes and (b) it allowed me to not stress about getting to the extra content while working through the course. It’s such a user-friendly platform.
The group coaching and Get Shit Done calls were also a major highlight, and they were even more useful as I made my way through the course and actually started to come with questions!
It’s amazing how much having just 10 minutes to get a question answered or have someone look at my numbers can do – like I didn’t actually have to spin my wheels by myself!”
More than 600 people have graduated from Money Skills for Therapists. There are many success stories, and it’s been a pleasure to teach it and watch people grow!
Absolutely – I am actually Canadian!
Since this is a foundational skills course, it applies to you no matter where you live. And it’ll help with day-to-day money management.
When it comes to specific, local tax regulations and laws, I’ll always advise to talk to your accountant anyway. Therapists and coaches worldwide have gotten the skills from this course to feel more confident and prepared in these conversations.
You may have a spreadsheet that works pretty well, or a receipt system that does the trick, but do you have a whole system set up and a positive relationship with money? That’s what Money Skills for Therapists is about.
You’ll get support setting up business finances from the most basic to advanced tools. You’ll develop big-picture thinking and a CEO approach to your money.
And finally, you’ll access financial competency and a healthy money mindset.
I’m a big believer in the right thing at the right time.
Are you grounded in your skills as a therapist? Do you have the bandwidth to really dig into finances with us over the next 6 months?
Then, yes! Joining Money Skills for Therapists will help you set up your finances well from the very beginning!
On the other hand, if you have no clients at all or are overwhelmed by getting your practice off the ground, I suggest investing in a course to help you build your practice before joining.
Although many of the skills and tools in Money Skills for Therapists can be applied to group practice, it doesn’t specifically address the complicated financial pieces that come with having employees and contractors working for you.
We have a different course, Money Skills for Group Practice Owners, which covers those details in depth.
However, many group practice owners have worked on their individual relationship with money by taking Money Skills for Therapists.
Just know that a group practice is more involved than a solo private practice. And if you’re looking to develop a mindset and systems to be the empowered financial leader, Money Skills for Group Practice Owners is a great choice.
We’re here to support you if you can’t make it to live calls.
You can submit questions in advance, which we’ll answer on the call. Tune in to the recording as soon as you’re available.
Or head over to our online community. Send us a loom video of your system set up, and we’ll work through things with you that way.
I get it – you wouldn’t be here right now if money wasn’t hard for you!
First, I want you to be safe and well. Do not make this investment if it is actually going to put you in financial precarity.
On the other hand…do you actually not have the money?
Many of us have a story that we’re broke. That we never have money. And working through this story is something super valuable that you’ll get out of the course.
If you really have the money and it’s just hard for you to spend it, then your question isn’t about affordability. It’s about whether you’ll get a return on investment.
The answer to that question is: yes.
If you join Money Skills for Therapists, come to coaching calls or listen to the recordings, engage the online community, and complete the lessons, you will get a return on your investment. You will:
And if you show up and do the work without seeing success? I’ll happily give you a refund.
You’ll get immediate and exclusive access to all of the course materials. Each lesson is full of helpful videos and worksheets to get you applying this stuff to your business in real time.
This is not a theory course. This is a doing course. And as you work through it, you will be setting up your real system and making real changes.
You’ll also be invited to join the course community in Mighty Networks, and you’ll be able to attend all of the helpful and supportive group calls. There is generally at least one call each week. You can check out the current and upcoming monthly call schedules here.
Plus, you’ll get access to all the bonus mini-courses. So, you can jump straight to those if you want and get that extra support right away.
You’ll have lifetime access to the course materials (all lessons, which include videos and worksheets). Lifetime access entitles you to any and all updates I add to the program at no additional charge.
There are 6 modules of course content and you have 6 months total in the course community. So you have lots of wiggle room! And we’re there to help you get back on track if you need a helping hand.
Yes, in a few different ways! I’m inside the online course community, answering questions and offering support.
I’m also on the Coaching & Support Group Calls once a month to answer your questions as they come up, and both of the Get Shit Done Co-working & Troubleshooting Sessions to give you extra technical know-how support as you work through real tasks (our community coach does the other Get Shit Done Call and the Money Mindset Seminar).
You also get a 30-minute one-on-one call with me so we can deep dive into your specific questions and situation.
No. If you already have, use, and love Quickbooks, then you can totally keep using it. However, this course will show you how to manage your business finances in a way that makes sense for your brain, and for most therapists, that’s not accounting software.
This is mostly up to you, depending on the amount of support you need! There are 6 modules that can take between 2-3 hours each to complete between watching videos and actually implementing.
Then there are 4 group calls each month for you to take advantage of (a 90-minute Coaching & Support call, a 90-minute Money Mindset Seminar, and two 90-minute Get Shit Done Co-working & Troubleshooting Sessions).
You also have the option of participating in the online community forum to get ongoing support with making the changes stick.
As for how quickly you get results, that’s entirely up to you. The sooner you dig in and apply what you’re learning, the better! Once you’ve gone through and applied the course materials to your business, I know that this course will improve your financial situation (both in your business and home.)
Not as quickly, thoroughly, and easily as you will in the course.
We all need support sometimes, and as therapists we tend to thrive in relationship to others, so use that trait to your benefit!
How many times have you tried to do this on your own, and started out, but didn’t get anywhere?
This program will work for you as it’s already worked for dozens of therapists just like you.
…busy therapists
…tired therapists
…therapists who are also parents and caregivers
